Life is short.
To some people, life is a walk in the park. They do what they want to do without a care in the world. To others, life is a trial, where actions have consequences, good or bad. Now life isn't always fair. Sometimes you get slapped in the face with reality, or kicked down with hurtful words. Other times, out of your control, things happen to you and can change your life forever.
2 weeks ago, a friend of mine was driving at night and a drowsy driver went into her lane and hit her head on. She broke her back on impact and is in the hospital. She's had a couple surgeries, but doctors don't know if she'll be able to walk again or have any feeling below her knees.
A few days before her accident, I was with this friend at girl's camp having fun and getting closer to the gospel and now she is in the ICU at the hospital, not able to move and maybe not able to walk again if surgeries aren't successful. She didn't do anything bad to deserve this trial, life just happened.
Life is too short to not live it to the fullest, so that's why we've gotta make the best of the trials that are put in our lives. Sometimes people are even sent our way to help us through our trial. We shouldn't push them away and try to do it alone. They were sent to help you because they care about you.
Not all trials will be the end of the world, so you've got to try your best to make it through.
For those of you reading, if you could add Eden Jerome to your prayers, it would be greatly appreciated. She's a really good friend of mine and needs all the prayers she can get
